AUSTIN (KXAN) – A new Quinnipiac poll released Wednesday showed the race for Texas governor tightening. These results were given as a result of the shooting at the Uvalde school.
The group’s results showed that 48% of Texas voters supported Republican Gov. Greg Abbott and 43% supported Democratic challenger Beto O’Rourke.
In December 2021, the governor had 52% compared to O’Rourke’s 37%.
