RBNZ raises cash rate from 3.0 percent to 3.5 percent

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand has achieved its eighth consecutive increase in the official cash rate. The RBNZ has raised interest rates by half a percent, from 3.0 percent to 3.5 percent.
