It seems that the left is engaged in yet another false narrative. The New York Times On Tuesday night, the alleged gunman who carried out a mass shooting at an LGBTQ club in Colorado identified as “non-binary.”
The suspect’s public defenders point out that shooting suspect Anderson Aldrich uses the pronouns “they/them,” according to the lawsuit. New York Times reporter Nicholas Bogel-Burroughs, the defense attorneys called the defendant “Mx. Anderson Aldrich.”

Aldrich is currently being held on suspicion of murder and hate crimes in connection with Saturday night’s shooting at Club Q. He was injured after patrons at the club attacked him to stop the massacre and was released from the hospital on Tuesday, then booked into the El Paso County Jail.
Left-leaning activist media outlets and influencers say the fire is fueled by rhetoric from conservatives criticizing the sexualization of children and efforts to promote transgender ideology among K-12 students. They tried to insinuate that those who spoke out against these issues inspired the attack, that it was the result of hatred against members of the LGBTQ community.
Media activist Brandy Zadrozny of NBC News singled out TikTok Twitter account Libs and Fox News host Tucker Carlson for pushing “online hate trends” against the LGBTQ community. President Joe Biden also said that “gun violence continues to have a devastating and particular impact on LGBTQI+ communities across our country, and threats of violence are on the rise.”
Biden also brought up the mass shooting at a gay club in Orlando, Florida, six years ago.
This is just a small sampling of prominent leftists trying to lay five deaths at the feet of conservatives at Club Q. Others used the tragedy to once again promote restrictive gun control laws against law-abiding citizens.
Aldrich and his lawyers are expected to make their first court appearance – effectively out of jail – on Wednesday.
