Former Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith made some harsh comments against Baker Mayfield.

Mayfield, who the Panthers acquired in a trade with the Cleveland Browns this offseason, has been a disaster for the team.

Smith couldn’t shut up about the veteran quarterback after his terrible performance on Sunday.

So what does he say about Mayfield and does he make any good points with his comments?

Smith calls Mayfield “The Three-Legged Donkey.”

Mayfield refused to take the blame for his mistakes, sending Smith into an argument with his former team’s quarterback.

What Smith doesn’t like is when the quarterback prepares for him, but the team makes mistakes.

For Smith, he had trouble containing his anger toward Mayfield.

This is because he knows that football is a team sport.

You can’t praise yourself for being good, but drag your teammates down when Mayfield fails.

Although some mistakes may be made by the team, most of the errors are caused by the signalman.

The Panthers had plenty of chances to pull off an upset during their game against the Baltimore Ravens.

However, Mayfield’s two interceptions ended drives where the Panthers came close to scoring.

While his mistakes in the Ravens game hurt his team, they have been a common theme for him this season.

In seven games, he threw for 1,313 yards, six touchdowns and six catches.

He also lacks open receivers and his completion percentage has dropped to 57.8% this season.

So Smith has every right to call out a Panthers quarterback who blames everyone but himself.
