Sir Paul McCartney celebrated Thanksgiving with his wife Nancy Shevell on Instagram on Thursday.
The Beatles star, 80, looked age-defying as he shared a sweet selfie – which showed him walking outdoors with his New York-born wife – with his 3.9 million followers.
Although originally from Liverpool, the musician proved he was celebrating the American holiday as he wrote that he was ‘thankful for the love’.

Paul was dressed comfortably in a black T-shirt and a zip-up hoodie, shielding his eyes with a pair of black sunglasses.
While Nancy wrapped her arm around her boyfriend, wearing a black zip-up sports top and the same black sunglasses.
Both had glowing complexions, and Nancy’s brunette curls were pulled back into a low ponytail.
‘Thanks for the love – Paul ❤️ #Thanksgiving #HappyThanksgiving,’ Paul wrote.

Nancy is Paul’s third wife, having said ‘I do’ to his first wife Linda in 1968, and remained married until her death from breast cancer at the age of 56 in 1998.
The couple had four children, Mary, Stella, James and Heather, Linda’s daughter from a previous relationship, whom Paul legally adopted.
He then began a relationship with Heather Mills in 2000, whom he married two years later – before a messy divorce in 2008.
But finally living happily with Nancy, the couple’s wedding had a special meaning – it took place in the same location as Paul’s wedding to Linda.
Nancy is vice president of her family’s transportation business, the Shevell Group—she first met Paul more than 20 years ago, when they both owned homes in the Hamptons.
The legendary music star dated the businesswoman for four years before their intimate wedding, which saw 30 guests – including fellow Beatles member Ringo Starr.

Paul recently bumped into John Lennon’s Julian look-alike son at New York’s JFK airport – sharing a selfie with his former bandmate’s son Julian Lennon.
Julian, 59, shared the photo on Twitter, shocked at the chances of them crossing paths – which just happens to be just weeks away from the 42nd anniversary of his father’s death.
He wrote in the caption: ‘It’s amazing who you run into in the airport lounge! None other than Uncle Paul… So, so nice and what are the chances… Thanks…. ❤️.’
