Political fight ‘heats up’ at Kooyong headquarters

Sky News reporter Simon Love says the political fight in Melbourne is “heating up” as the contest for Kooyong’s seat intensifies.

A piece of political advertising for Treasurer Josh Frydenberg was recently “removed” from a building in the electorate, according to Love.

“It is my understanding that the building manager notified the Frydenberg campaign that they did not have the proper permits to put that wrapper on the building,” he said.

Love also noted that independent candidate Monique Ryan’s camp put up a mural in a prominent pub that was also “painted” amid a dispute with the building manager over permits.
