Officials walk out of G20 meeting in protest over Russia

Financial officials from the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom walked out of a G20 meeting in protest at the appearance of Russian delegates.

However, as the Australian government is in interim mode, the country was represented by a Treasury official and a Reserve Bank representative.

The Australian Treasury official took part virtually and turned off his camera as the Russian finance ministers began speaking, according to Ross Greenwood, business editor at Sky News.
