(CBS DETROIT) – The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services announced 15,578 coronavirus cases in the state and 137 additional deaths this week.
This brings the statewide total of COVID-19 cases to 2,581,397 and 36,675 deaths as of June 15.

This is how the data is updated:
- Case and death data will be updated once a week on Wednesdays.
- Case and death data will include confirmed and probable cases and deaths.
- The County Cumulative COVID-19 Case Rate Map has been replaced with a CDC COVID-19 Community Levels Map and will be updated on Fridays.
