Tthe best time of the year is almost here: Bowl season.

There is one more week of college football before then, and the Mountain West will wrap up its regular season schedule.

Here are the latest predictions for the 2022 season at MWC.

Utah State at Boise State

Friday, November 25
9 p.m. PT, CBS

The Aggies have somehow won games lately, but the Broncos likely finished the MWC slate with an undefeated record and could very well win the conference title game a week from now.

I’ll stick with the Broncos.

Prediction: Boise State 27, Utah State 14

New Mexico in Colorado

Friday, November 25
12:30 p.m. PT, CBS Sports

TThe Rams and Lobos have the exact same record (2-9 overall).

However, New Mexico has yet to win an MWC game all year.

On the one hand, I could see an “upset,” but I can’t help but win a game against New Mexico, especially on the road.

Prediction: Colorado State 20, New Mexico 14

Wyoming at Fresno State

Friday, November 25
7 p.m. PT, FS1

This is easily the best match of the weekend, at least on paper.

Fresno State looks primed for the MWC title game if they beat the Cowboys, and they’re looking for revenge against Boise.

Jake Haener is hard to stop and Wyoming can’t contain the deadly Bulldogs offense.

Prediction: Fresno State 34, Wyoming 21

Hawaii at San Jose State

Saturday, November 26
12:30 p.m. PT, Spectrum Sports

Hawaii BEAT UNLV. Yes, that’s not a typo.

But they travel to California and face a tough San Jose State team that hasn’t had a good time lately.

Brent Brennan’s Spartans win as coach could be his last game at San Jose State.

Prediction: San Jose State 30, Hawaii 10

Nevada at UNLV

Saturday, November 26
3pm PT, Nevada Sports Network

Yes, the Rebels lost to the Rainbow Warriors on the island.

However, Nevada has zero wins in the MWC and looks like one of the worst teams in football.

The Rebels need to win, and if they lose, Marcus Arroyo will be in a ton of trouble.

Prediction: UNLV 20, Nevada 17

Air Force at SDSU

Saturday, November 26
6 p.m. PT, CBS Sports

The might have the best game of the weekend for the MWC.

Air Force can run the ball at will and San Diego State has been fantastic since settling on Jalen Mayden as their starting QB.

If the Falcons handle the ball well and limit the Aztecs offense, this game will be close.

Regardless, I expect SDSU to win the offensive showcase for both sides.

Prediction: SDSU 34, Air Force 28
