After the game, coach Sheldon Keefe said Rielly will need more tests on Tuesday to determine his severity.

Rielly fell into the neutral zone after his feet made contact. He immediately skated to the locker room, missing the rest of Toronto’s 3-2 overtime loss.

The Leafs defense is already short with Jake Muzzin (cervical spine injury) and TJ Brodie (oblique).

The 28-year-old Rielli has not scored a goal in 20 games this season and has 16 assists.
