A man has been charged with attempted murder following a shooting in west Melbourne over the weekend.
Paramedics were called to Federation Drive, Melton, shortly after 3:00 pm Saturday, where they found a 36-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
The victim remains in the hospital in stable condition.
A 38-year-old man turned himself in to police in the shooting Monday night and has been charged with attempted murder, reckless life-threatening conduct, intentionally causing serious injury and prohibited personal use of a firearm. fire.
Investigators took the man, from Kurunjang, into custody to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
