MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — After COVID-19 forced Walter Mondale’s family to delay memorial services for the former vice president several times, the ceremony will finally take place on Sunday.
Senator Amy Klobuchar, who knew Mondale very well, will be one of the service’s speakers. It begins at 1:30 pm and will air live on CBS News Minnesota.

“It was our pole star,” Klobuchar said. “He was someone who believed in decency and he was just someone who, in my experience, brought people with him.”
