Johnny Depp interacted with fans in the voice of one of his most iconic characters, Captain Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean film series, as he was led from the court where he takes on his ex-wife Amber Heard in a $50 million dollar defamation case.

Fans greeted Depp and expressed their support as the actor left the pitch in his truck. Depp greeted fans and even showed off his ponytail when one fan exclaimed, “We love your hair!”

And a fan can be heard yelling, “You’ll always be our Captain Jack Sparrow,” to which Depp responded in the slightly drunk-sounding British character’s voice.

“He’s still around somewhere. I see him from time to time. He shows up from time to time,” Depp said in the voice, as seen in a video posted on Twitter.
