Pity party? Ex-Giants coach Joe Judge loads up on pizza and beer after getting fired, report says

And now for something completely different.

A day after being fired by the New York Giants, Joe Judge loaded up pizza and beer, which were delivered to his New Jersey home on Wednesday.

This is according to TMZ.

Pictures, obtained by TMZ Sports, show the newly unemployed 40-year-old to have received nine boxes of pizza as well as several cases of Michelob Ultra and Coors Light. We were also told that the judge also ordered flowers to arrive at his door.

Judge lost his job Tuesday after going 10-23 in two seasons as a head coach.

“Steve (Tisch) and I both think it’s in the best interest of our franchise to move in a different direction,” said team president John Mara. “We met with Joe yesterday afternoon to discuss the state of the team. I met Joe again this afternoon, and it was during this conversation that I informed Joe of our decision. We appreciate Joe’s efforts on behalf of the organization.

“I said before the start of the season that I wanted to feel good about the direction we were going to take when we played our last game of the season. Unfortunately I cannot make that statement which is why we have made this decision.

“We will be hiring a GM and that person will lead the effort to hire a new head coach. “

The Giants fired Judge a day after general manager Dave Gettleman retired after four unsuccessful seasons as head of the New York front office.
