Prepare for two wedding flames.
Actress Megan Fox and rock star boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly are engaged.
“In July 2020, we sat under that banyan tree,” Fox wrote in the caption of his Wednesday Instagram post announcing the engagement.
“We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short and frantic period of time. Ignoring the work and the sacrifices that the relationship would require of us, but intoxicated with love. And karma.
His poetic post continued, “Somehow, a year and a half later, after going through hell together and laughing more than I ever imagined, he asked me to marry her. “
“And like in all lifetimes before this, and like in all lifetimes that will follow, I said yes … and then we drank each other’s blood.”
“’Yes, in this life and in all lives,” Kelly wrote on her own Instagram, under a close-up of the couple’s ring. “Under the same branches we fell in love under, I brought her back to ask her to marry me.”
“I know tradition is a ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (his birthstone) and the diamond (my birthstone) set on two magnetic bands of gold. thorns that come together like two halves of the same soul forming the dark heart that is our love.
The couple met in March 2020 while filming “Midnight in the Switchgrass,” when Fox was estranged from “Beverly Hills, 90210” star Brian Austin Green.
After months of speculation, the couple confirmed their relationship in June 2020 after the rapper tweeted his own lyrics to announce, “‘I’m calling you girlfriend, what’s the f—’ life imitated the art on that one. ”
Since then, the “Bloody Valentine” singer, 31, and “Jennifer’s Body” actress, 35, have caused an uproar with their steamy PDAs and eccentric displays of affection.
During a show in LA while on tour, the rapper, real name Colson Baker, stopped his performance to kiss his future wife as she wrapped her legs around him.
This came after a very busy PDA awards season where they were seen to come in handy at both the Billboard Music Awards and the VMAs.
This will be MGK’s first marriage and Fox’s second.
The “Transformers” star shares 3 children with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green.
