This year’s Energy Globe World Award will be held on November 30 in Vienna, the capital of Austria, under the motto “Yes, we can – Yes, we do”. The event is already being described by top climate experts as a “global summit for sustainable solutions”.

The climate crisis is the most pressing issue, especially for our children, because we must preserve our planet for future generations. However, there are already workable solutions to every environmental problem facing humanity today. These solutions are presented to a global audience at the annual Energy Globe World Award.

Over the past 22 years, more than 180 participating countries and a total of more than 30,000 environmental projects have been presented, the Energy Globe has been the world’s most important environmental award. The winners of the National Energy Globes are selected annually in all participating countries. The world’s best projects are then presented at the Energy Globe World Award, attended by top players from politics, business and science.

This year, nearly 3,000 environmental projects from 183 countries were submitted and will be evaluated by a jury of international experts chaired by Maneka Gandhi (former environment minister of India). A difficult task with many great innovations offering solutions to environmental problems.

Awards will be given in life nominations – “water, earth, fire, air” and also in the special category of “youth”, which shows our future.

On the eve of the Energy Globe Gala, world-renowned Nobel laureate and economist Professor Mohan Munasinghe will speak with experts in panel discussions on ways to solve our environmental problems, focusing on energy, water resources, sustainable development and climate change.
