ASUS is now selling the world’s thinnest 14-inch laptop

come on

Laptops come in multiple shapes and sizes, but going with a slimmer model usually means giving up performance and battery life. ASUS hopes to change that with a new MacBook Pro competitor, which the company says is the thinnest 14-inch laptop in existence.

The ASUS ExpertBook B9 is now available for purchase, following a series of ExpertBook announcements from ASUS over the past few months. This particular laptop, according to ASUS, is currently the lightest 14″ laptop on the market, at 0.59 inches thin (1.49 cm). It’s equipped with Intel’s 12th gen Core i7 silicon (not the latest, but still very respectable), also uses the vPro platform, meaning it’s a great option for business and work on the go.

Despite the slim design, ASUS promises impressive battery life. The official estimated battery life is 16 hours, but keep in mind that PC manufacturers’ battery estimates are always best-case scenarios. You also get a 1TB SSD and 16GB DDR5 RAM

If you want to get the laptop, you can grab it right now on Amazon. ASUS is charging $1,840.85, which is pretty steep for a laptop — though par for the course compared to the likes of Apple’s MacBook Pro lineup. This is definitely one of the best premium Windows laptops you can get unless you are into gaming
