All Elite Wrestling is getting a video game later this year, and AEW wrestler and game liaison Evil Uno has confirmed it’s coming to consoles and PC. During a live stream, Evil Uno showed off new gameplay footage and confirmed a GamesBeat report that the name of the game is AEW: Fight Forever.
As part of the broadcast, Yuke’s and AEW revealed previews of wrestlers Kris Statlander and Nyla Rose. They’re also bringing referee Aubrey into the action. To get the fan-favorite Aubrey into the action, Yuke developed an AI referee engine. This will allow the referee to interact with the fighters in a way that appears realistic.
Evil Uno also mentioned some other improvements that the development team has made to the game. Those include a much more realistic crowd. Yuke’s is replacing audience members with flat textures with 3D models that have custom animations.
AEW: Fight Forever doesn’t have a release date yet, but Evil Uno ended by confirming that the “AEW console game” is also headed to PC.
