A young woman has revealed how she looks after 34 children at the age of 23, including waking up every morning at 4am
TikTok user Tusayiwe Mkhondya shared a video showing her grueling morning routine at the home she runs for orphans, street children and teenage mothers.
Tusayiwe, from Malawi, found herself a single homeless mother when she was 18 years old and opened her organization You Are Not Alone (Yana) soon after.
The children at the shelter range from five months to 16 years old and have shared the long days she has to make sure they are well cared for.
On her @tusaiweyana account, she said: “All children are not abandoned.

“Some are orphans, some have only one parent, some have both parents but have been abandoned by those parents.
“I provide education, empowerment and skills.”
In one of her videos, she shows how she wakes up at 4 am and starts preparing food for all the children.
In one scene he is preparing sandwiches for lunch and in others he shows how he prepares hot dishes for dinner with rice and meat.

She explains that she cooks for children under five and that other children have their own chores.
She added, “I am the only one who cooks for the children under 5 and each child has their own morning chores.”
All the children go to bed at 7 pm, but she spends every night feeding the babies when they wake up to eat.
She said, “I have to feed them and also change their diapers and I also have to get ready for work and the next day.”
The woman has a GoFundMe as she plans to buy land to expand the orphanage.
He has over 600,000 followers on TikTok with many praising the work he does.
Many people praised their efforts, with one saying, “You are doing an amazing thing for all of them! Keep going!!”
Another added: “May God reward you abundantly.”
