Week 12 is shaping up to be a pivotal moment for some NFL teams.

For these teams, they can’t afford to lose because a loss could hurt their playoff chances.

With so many teams still in the playoff race, which two can’t afford to lose in Week 12?

2. Green Bay Packers

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are a few losses away from seeing their playoff hopes die in 2022.

They hit the toughest stretch of their schedule as they go up against the Philadelphia Eagles.

They still have games against the Miami Dolphins and Minnesota Vikings on their schedule.

While they have some hopes of making the playoffs, any game they lose could end those chances.

Because of this, the Packers are in a dangerous position, especially since they cannot afford to lose in Week 12.

But a win and a win here gives them a shot at the playoffs.

1. New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints kept their playoff hopes alive with a win over the Los Angeles Rams last Sunday.

However, they cannot afford to lose if they want to make the playoffs.

Going up against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12 proves to be the second toughest challenge of their remaining schedule.

While the loss doesn’t keep them out of the playoffs, it forces the Saints to get a lot of help to make the playoffs.

That’s why the Saints can’t afford to lose with a 4-7 record and six games remaining on the 2022 NFL schedule.

However, with a win, the Saints can stay alive in the playoff race.
