Multiple injured in car crash in Angeles National Forest

LOS ANGELES, CA (August 5, 2022) – On Tuesday night, two victims were hospitalized after a car accident on Placerita Canyon Road.

The accident occurred in the 19000 block of Placerita Canyon Road around 5:50 pm on August 2. Emergency crews rushed to the scene shortly after.

The driver of a Ford F-150 was reportedly heading east on Placentia Canyon Road and collided head-on with a Kia Sportage.

An American Medical Response unit then transported the driver and passenger of the Kia to a nearby hospital. Additionally, investigators say one of the injured victims was an older woman.

Meanwhile, authorities closed both lanes following the accident on Placerita Canyon Road.. No further details about the collision have been released to the public; however, more information will be provided as it becomes available.
